The first step is always the hardest… – Susan Gale

I’ve been contemplating for months doing a blog as I always feel that my writings are kind of just ordinary (as compared to others). Especially to my husband who is my number One critic, who after reading my journals and school papers pointed out that “I write the way how I say it”. He explained that he doesn’t mean it in a bad way but there is a certain style of writing things — which I agreed — so an additional reason of “not” starting this Blog Journey. As I question my writing ability this couple of months and coupled with procrastination, my husband didn’t stop encouraging me to “just write”. I believe you need to be an awesome writer to create blogs like this. You need to be articulate with words to capture your readers to not just start reading but to actually finish it till the end.
After a few months of holding on to one of my vision board goals and I guess slowly getting bored of Netflix and playing Animal Crossing I came to a breaking point that I need to do something about my life goals. This is the first step of my Blog Journey, my husband as my so called “editor” – lucky to have someone who annoyingly motivates me and reminds me of the things I want to accomplish in life and push me to do great things. The first step is always the hardest, I can attest to that. Now after writing a few paragraphs, I can say it wasn’t that hard and how I wasted so much time contemplating and having second thoughts on my writing ability. It’s really not that hard, believe me. It’s all in your mind…if I can do this, so can you.
Now that I’ve done my hardest first step, I plan to continue on more things to write and have a few more topics in mind that I’ll list down to not forget. My Life in Dubai before I came to Auckland, my travels, my cooking adventures, my new life in Auckland and a life of a new Mrs. I have so much in store for new topics and felt my few months of brain stagnation has come to a halt and hoping for that to never happen again.
This blog journey is also a learning journey for me so please feel free to share on the things I need to improve so others can learn as well.

Yayyyy! ♥ Congrats!!! Will start mine soon too ♥ Thanks for encouraging me. Love yah —- Jing
